Crisis Management and First Aid Training for Daraz Nepal Employees
On 24 July 2026, students from Samarpan Academy conducted a Crisis Management and First Aid Training for employees of Daraz Nepal, demonstrating the value of practical, industry-focused education and strong private–academia partnerships.
The training was led by Mr. Bishal Raj Gurung, a student of the Master in Crisis Management (MCM). The training team included Ms. Sandhya Bohora and Mr. Prabesh K.C. from MCM, and Mr. Puran Bahadur Chand from the Master in Counselling Psychology (MCP).
The theoretical sessions covered burns, bleeding, shock, foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO), and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Participants also gained hands-on experience through practical sessions on splinting, bandaging, FBAO management, and CPR.
Beyond sharing life-saving skills, this training gave our students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in a professional setting while being paid for their expertise. It is an excellent example of how meaningful collaboration between academia and the private sector benefits both students and industry.
Congratulations to our students for representing Samarpan Academy with professionalism and dedication.
