Masters Counseling Psychology course that will be launching mid-June 2017

The Institute of Crisis Management wanted to make new potential students, academics and stakeholders aware of our new Masters Counseling Psychology course that will be launching mid-June 2017. Starting in Mid-June the course will offer a comprehensive overview of counseling psychology and equip students with the skills and techniques to be effective and compassionate Counselling Psychologists and able to work in a wide variety of settings.

This is the first time the ICMS in association with Tribhuvan University is offering such a course. There are a number of exciting collaboration and co-operation opportunities including with Patrice Molten, Professor of psychology at Northwestern State University, and as a result we feel that the launch of this course is a really
exciting opportunity. We welcome all potential students, scholars toget into contact with the ICMS. We are able to arrange for a campus tour and discussion with a faculty member for potential students. For exemplary scholars and working psychologists we can also offer guest lectures and conferences to provide a platform for the discussion ofissues relating to Counselling Psychology.

This course will build on the ICMS’s outstanding reputation for its MA Crisis Management course and provide an inter-disciplinary approach, meaning those MCP students will also be able to learn elements ofcrisis management and intervention, which may be very beneficial in their work.
